Exit 6 Robotics: VRC Team 62228A, FLL Team 2228, VEX IQ Team 6280
Now in their 6th year as a competitive robotics team, Exit 6 Robotics (E6R) is starting their first year in VRC. The previous experiences of shifting to the FIRST universe of FLL from the RECF universe of VEX IQ is benefitting them well as they transition back to the VRC world. As part of the change, the team switched names from Exit 6 Brobotics to Exit 6 Robotics recognizing the importance of equality and fairness. The team leveraged their experience in VIQ to provide a base foundation for all the expansive new things to learn in FLL. After a very steep 6 month learning curve, the team was one of the last teams announced in their November FLL qualifier to make State Championships. The team embraced the opportunity to grow all three aspects of FLL, Core Values, Project, and Robot and finished the year with 1st Place Champions Award at North NJ State Finals along with an invitation to FLL World Festival in Detroit.
