Are you wondering what’s the next step for your FLL team?

FLL is challenging, exciting, rewarding and just plain fun. But all good things must come to an end, right? Well, not so fast! The FIRST organization also sponsors a high school level program that has a lot of the same elements that make FLL so great. FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) builds on everything you’ve accomplished in FLL. The robot are just a little bigger….and metal.

Fear the Gear, an FTC team (and former FLL team) based in Chatham, NJ is hosting an outreach event to show you what it takes to start an FTC team.

There will be presentations on starting and running a team, demos on building and programming. Veteran teams will be there to show their robots, and there will even be a mini-scrimmage.

You can show up anytime though out the day OR better yet, contact questions@fearthegear.com and sign up for one of the limited slots to be paired up with a veteran team to actually work on and drive FTC-class robots in a mini-scrimmage.
