Team Landrias was at the 2011 FIRST LEGO League World Festival in St. Louis, MO from April 27 to April 30, 2011!

Landrias, aka “Team #1, Friends of FIRST” at the World Festival was selected by FLL as the stand-in team for this event.  The Landrias had a great time meeting new friends from around the world and attend a surprised concert from Will-i-am, Black Eye Peas, and Willow Smith. Three FLL teams (Jaguar, Yobotics, and Robot Rangers) from New Jersey will attend the 2011 FLL US Open at LEGOland, CA during the weekend of May 21, 2011.  We wish them all the best of luck and have fun!

For those LRC teams who would like a chance to compete at the national and international level, take advantage to participate in all of the outreach opportunities that LRC has to offer throughout the year.  These are your chances to spread the word of FIRST and promote STEM education by inspiring others to be interested in science and technologies. Those teams who exemplify the value and mission of FIRST are the next Champion’s Award winners.
