Team Landroids: Google Science Fair Interview

To inspire the students age 13 to 18 from around the world to participate in Google Science Fair, Google interviewed 5 renown scientist/groups. One of them is the only student group in all, team Landroids from Livingston Robotics Club.

In an effort to seek the brightest young scientists and engineers, Google has organized this online, global, web-base science competition, covered 11 different topics, to encourage students to utilize technologies such as the Google Site, Google docs, YouTube, etc. to compile and present their research projects.  As of April 7, 2011 midnight, this first annual global Google Science Fair has received over 7,500 entries from more than 10,000 young scientists in over 90 countries.

The judging has already begun, 60 global semi-finalist projects will be selected by May 9, 2011 for the second round of the competitions.  From there, 15 global finalists will be chosen and flown to the Google HQ in California for the final competition.  See the Landroids GSF interview video for some tips if you are interested in participate next year.
