This weekend, Landrias kicked off the FLL “Body Forward” season with a visit to the BioReference Lab on 9/10/10. Dr. Meredith (the Director of MicroArray) took us for a tour of the lab. We learned about hybridization, DNA, and more about genetics.

Most of our members have been out of the country during the summer, and just got back in time for the start of the new school year. Our team had a late start with FLL this season, but all of us are excited to learn about biomedical engineering and brainstorming a research topic, plus designing a brand new robot for this year’s challenge. It is so much fun to hang out together again on the weekends.
