As a part of the Livingston Youth Appreciation Week, Livingston Robotics Club (LRC) hosted an outdoor Junior FIRST LEGO League Expo (Jr.FLL Expo, formerly known as JFLL Expo) at the Livingston Township Oval, on Saturday, May 29, 2010, from 10 AM to 3 PM. Participants and spectators from Bergen, Essex, and Union counties in New Jersey joined the event.
Two of the LRC FLL teams, Landroids and Landrias assisted in hosting the event, and the Livingston High School Lancers FTC team also participated along with other interactive space travel and transportation related exhibits. The Expo was to showcase the work of Jr.FLL teams in their “Smart Move” Challenge and to encourage other children to participate in the next season (“Body Forward” Challenge related to Biomedical Engineering). The event was followed by the Bike Rodeo hosted by Livingston Police and team Landrias.
