An all-girls FIRST LEGO League team originally formed in the summer of 2010 with four 4th graders and one 3rd grader, all from Harrison Elementary School in Livingston, NJ.  Exit 5 Robotics is now entering their second season (2011-12) with six girls (three 5th and three 7th graders) consisting of a collection of sisters, friends, neighbors, classmates, and teammates.  The team’s common bonds are an interest in METS (not the NY Mets, but Math, Engineering, Technology & Science) and returning home from out-of-town excursions with the ramp to Exit 5, Interstate 280.  Now in their second year, they’ve competed in FLL Body Forward 2010, Robocup Junior 2011, and FLL Food Factor 2011.
