Livingston Robotoics Club (LRC) started with one Livingston, NJ neighborhood team in August 2007, has since expanding rapidly to include students from K-12, with neighborhood teams joining the Club throughout New Jersey.

For the 2011-12 season, LRC has 16 active teams in 3 divisions, with 20 parent coaches, 72 students, from Livingston, West Orange, Florham Park, South Orange, Short Hill, Kearny, East Hanover, Springfield, Basking Ridge, Glen Rock, Southampton, Old Bridge, Kendall Park, and Marlboro areas.

FIRST Tech Challenge (high school): 1 team (Landroids #4220)

FIRST LEGO League (age 9 to 14): 7 teams (Landrias #4282, Alpha Force #4751, Exit 5 Robotics #4669, Supreme Machine #4754, AstroBoys #4783,  Technomes #3921, and the Shining Star #6516 team)

Jr.FIRST LEGO League (age 6 to 9): 8 teams (Spongebots, Legobotics, Robosharks, Extreme Inventors, The Bullets, DragoBots, Brain Builders, MIGO Ranbots)
